Why Seasonal Living Matters
Ayurveda recognises six seasons (Ritu), each shifting the balance of doshas in nature and in our bodies. By adjusting diet, lifestyle, and herbal support according to the season, we prevent disease before it arises โ the ultimate expression of Ayurvedic preventive medicine.
Vasanta Ritu โ Spring
February โ March
Spring is Kapha season. The warmth begins to melt accumulated winter Kapha (mucus, heaviness, sluggishness) leading to colds, allergies, and lethargy. This is the ideal time for cleansing and lightening.
