About This Recipe

Medium thick rice porridge, more nourishing than Peya. Good for convalescence.

Ingredients

• 1 part rice
• 6 parts water
• Rock salt to taste
• 1 tsp ghee
• Fresh ginger (optional)

Preparation Method

1. Cook rice in water until mushy
2. Should be drinkable but thicker than Peya
3. Add salt and ghee
4. Can add grated ginger for digestion
5. Serve warm
