About This Recipe

Light, protein-rich soup perfect for cleansing and easy digestion. Ideal during detox.

Ingredients

• 1 cup split yellow mung dal
• 4 cups water
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• Fresh curry leaves
• Lemon juice
• Rock salt

Preparation Method

1. Wash dal and cook until very soft
2. Heat ghee, add cumin and mustard seeds
3. Add turmeric and coriander powder
4. Pour tempering over cooked dal
5. Add curry leaves and salt
6. Finish with fresh lemon juice
7. Serve hot
