About This Recipe

Digestive condiment to kindle Agni before meals. Traditional appetite stimulant.

Ingredients

• 200g fresh ginger
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp rock salt
• 1/2 tsp hing (asafoetida)
• 1 tsp jaggery powder or sugar

Preparation Method

1. Peel fresh ginger and slice very thinly
2. Mix with salt and set aside for 1 hour
3. Drain any excess water that forms
4. Add lemon juice, hing, and jaggery
5. Mix well
6. Store in clean glass jar
7. Ready to eat after 2 hours
8. Take 1 tsp 15 minutes before meals
